From Boy to Man :: Example Personal Narratives

From Boy to Man       It was December 26, 2002, a twenty-four hour period that will live in my mind for constantly. I had just gotten my manifest three days before, and all in all I could think ab come out of the closet was madcap force around with my friends and enjoying the thought that I was actually free to go wheresoever I wanted, and whenever I wanted. My vehicle was a 1994 Dodge. It was the family car that had been passed down. It had gone through and through my father, brother, and finally down to me. It was a fine piece of machinery, to me anyway. The stereo had cardinal stations precisely no tape player. The van had cruise control, however that took a long time to work. I would usually have to interpret it four or five times before I could ever get it to work.       It had one Ced a couple of days before, so the roads were okay, but they still had some snow and ice on them. Since I had my authorise for three days, I ha d already been through all the weather that matinee idol could throw at me, so I knew that I was a driving expert. All the times before, in drivers ed., I had driven in the rain, in nice weather, mostly anything, but I was not prepared for what was sack to happen on this day.       I picked up two of my non-driving friends because I was considered to be cool now that I could drive around without my parents. We decided that we should go to McDonalds to celebrate my achievements. I had my normal 9 with a Coke, and I leave what they got, but thats really not important. After McDonalds we decided to go out and just be teenagers, which included driving around, looking for chicks to drool over, and all the while I am thinking, Why didnt I get my certify at age 12? This is a breeze. We went out to McNeil Road to go by my old school, just to laugh at it, but something went wrong.       Since it had snowed a couple of days before, the roads w ere worse than I had ever encountered during drivers ed. The snow was blowing back and forth on the road.
